Dragon Era - Part 1-The Dragon's Trading In Science and Technology : Evolution

China has been major player in science and technology since 3 decades. The products of Chinese origin can be seen in all points of globe. The main character of Chinese goods are they are cheap and easily accessible in any market. Despite its popularity and acceptance, it also has several dangers which most of its consumers are unaware of. The Dragon’s emergence in science and technology is a matter of search now. It was in late 1980s Chinese government encouraged liberalist policies in trade. Chinese province of Guangdong had been centered of Tech Development in China. The Legend Computers (currently Lenovo) and Huawei were the two indigenous companies that bagged the technology from foreign partners who had arrived at Chinese soil for Alliance trade. As we know Chinese is people of curtains, most of its history are unexposed. People, Animals and even non-living things are kept under veils. This makes a little suspicion about their moves. That makes world think Chinese are some sort of different people. The credit of this monitoring and control goes to Founder of Modern China, Mao Zedong and also Communist model of Soviet Union.

Lenovo and Huawei have emerged as leaders in telecommunications and smartphone manufacturing as well as Computer and Allied products manufacture. These companies have also been in “Dosthi” with their government. They initially started manufacturing hardware cheaper than its foes. This made them to capture global market and increase their and Chinese tech dominance in world. After the Hardware dominance, these companies stepped their shoes in software. They developed their own software like Harmony OS, EMUI etc. This Operating Systems are real threat to global leaders like Google’s Android, Chrome OS. After growth of Lenovo and Huwaei, several other companies like Oneplus, Oppo, Xiaomi, ZTE etc. They also started to work upon technologies and resources that are affordable to all. As said before, this makes them attractive among its competitors. The main advantage of them is the disposal of cheapest labor in world which enables to manufacture products of minimum durability and low cost. Also sourcing raw materials is also very easy process for Chinese Firms as these are readily available for them.

Altogether, Chinese Tech emergence has been blessing for world as whole but there are several dangers lurking behind them. The ‘Han’ products are not durable and are prone to be faulty very easily. Also, presence of toxicity is in high levels. They also have an ‘inside eye’ monitoring activities of users who use them and sending that information to mother country which make vulnerable attacks on those nations. Otherwise, Chinese products are the best for normal consumers. Also, it is this fear that makes them crumble in market and makes European and American Markets to top sales and market now. It is also to be noted that its neighbors and semi government territories like Taiwan and Hong Kong are rising as Phoenixes to pluck its feathers. May be Xi Jinping will be changing his mind later! Let’s hope so.
